1. Where is your shop located?
We are a home-run business based on the eastern shores of Singapore

2. Is there a physical store I can visit?
Visits are possible by appointments and from time to time we may have open house days. 

3. Do you ship worldwide?
Yes of course! Shipping to anywhere other than Singapore is at cost!
We currently offer international shipping by Fedex to the following countries

Australia - from $60
Hong Kong - From $25
Japan - From $45
Malaysia - From $25
New Zealand - from $60
Prices are based on the smallest weight step up to 2.5kg. The final shipping fee will be calculated automatically at checkout based on the total weight of your order.

4. Do you ship using Singapore Post?
No we do not. We use a panel of courier companies curated by service standards and pricing.

5. Do you order volume discounts for large orders?
We mainly cater to home sewists and generally do not stock large quantities of each print. However, should you wish to obtain a large quantity of a particular fabric, please contact us at sewgoodknits@gmail.com to discuss your needs and we would be happy to work with you where possible!

6. What currency are your prices?
We operate in Singapore dollars but you are able to convert to view the prices in a variety of currencies. However please note that Singapore dollars will be reflected as the currency in your order confirmation. 

7. What do I do if I'm not sure what to make with a particular fabric or what fabric would be best for my project? 
Please feel free to get in touch with us via email or on facebook or instagram and we would be happy to share suitable patterns or share a little more on the handfeel of the fabric. Our facebook group and instagram page also has lots of inspiration of various items made with our fabrics! Feel free to browse there for ideas as well! 

8. How do I know how much fabric to buy?
The best way to make sure that you have enough fabric for a project is to pick a pattern and follow the fabric requirements in there! As we do not stock large quantities of each print, it is advisable to make sure you have bought enough to execute your idea! There are lots of great uses for remnant fabrics from hair ties to underwear! 


9. How long do you take to fulfil orders?
Unless otherwise stated, all fabrics on the site are in-stock fabrics and we endeavour to cut and pack and dispatch orders within 3-5 business days. Sale periods may increase the processing time. 

10. Can I combine orders for shipping? 
Where possible, we endeavour to combine orders placed within 24 hours of each other. However, we are unable to combine or refund shipping if the order has already been shipped. Please contact us should you have multiple orders placed within the 24 hour window and we will try our best to assist in combining! 

11. Can I cancel my order?
As long as your fabric has not been cut, we are able to cancel your order. 


12. Do you offer self collection? 
Yes, please select self-collection at check out and email us to arrange. Self collection is only available during weekdays and Saturdays between 9-6pm.

13. Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, free local shipping is offered for orders above SGD160. International shipping is at cost.

14. How will my order be shipped and how long does it take to arrive? 
We use a panel of carefully selected local and international couriers and are subject to their shipping times. For orders sent within Singapore, shipping times should usually be between 2-3 days, however, please note that this is subject to the shipping times of the courier. Please note that there may be shipping delays for international shipments due to COVID-19. For international orders, we currently use Fedex International Priority Service.


15. Do you accept returns?
All sales are final. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund or allow returns of fabric once they have been cut. However, if there is a mistake in your order and you have received the wrong fabric, please contact us at sewgoodknits@gmail.com and we will sort it out. 

16. What if the fabric I received was flawed?
We try to make sure there are no flaws in the fabric while cutting and we endeavour to disclose any flaws it any, but we do occasionally miss something, if you spot a flaw, please send us a photo and we will make it right. In some cases that may be in the form of a discount, refund or replacement. 

17. The fabric I received is not the same colour as it shows on my screen. Can I return it?
We endeavour to provide accurate photos of our fabrics however due to the variation in monitor, tablet and phone screens used to view the website, there may be discrepancies in the representation of the colour which we are unable to cater for. As such we cannot guarantee that the colour of the fabric received is an exact match to what you might see on the screen.

18. I forgot to apply my sale code. Can I still get the discount? I missed your sale by a few days, would you be able to extend the sale prices?
We apologize as we are unable to retroactively apply sale codes or discounts.
